Old Timers

The Alberta Wheat Pool elevator at Mossleigh, lit up under a prairie sky doing its full theatrical sunset. A red truck, a rail line, the CN shed. These wooden giants are disappearing across the prairies, and with them a whole way of life. I painted this one loud and unapologetic — old timers deserve a send-off in colour.
